We are proud to announce that newest member of Larapixie agency is amazing stylist Chris Benns.
Chris first began working in fashion in 2006 after leaving private Italian fashion school, Insituto Marangoni. He soon assisted various main stream stylists in the media industry making links that would eventually land him his major project – UK stylist to The Scissor Sisters. Here Chris worked alongside their US creative team headed by Zaldy Goco (Gwen Stafani’s ‘Lamb’ label), and was given the opportunity to work at events such as the BRIT awards, as well as styling all the band’s UK PR shoots.
At this point Chris broke into editorial work, styling various beauty features. Chris soon began to make waves in the fashion world, and in 2007 his talent was spotted by fashion director and designer, Kim Jones. Chris worked under Kim's watchful eye on a large variety of jobs, ranging from styling to consultancy.
He has since worked as a stylist on a plethora of projects around the world, from street wear through to high end fashion, and has worked on publications such as Vogue Homme, V, Vman, BLVD, Electric Youth, ID on various levels as well shooting for companies including Tommy Hilfiger, Dunhill and Mc Q.
