ASGER JUEL LARSEN COLLECTION
About the collection:
My collection reflects high masculinity in every aspect and is essentially a mirror image of myself. The focal point of the collection is themes of medieval warfare and more specifically chain mail. Exploring its use down to the method of its manufacture, I have created a modern adaptation of the armour by producing ‘futuristic’ ideas of chain mail, using alternative materials such as leather, PVC and rubber cords.
As I experimented on the shapes of my silhouette, I have morphed two opposite ideas: the voluminous and the slim. These opposing ideas are apparent in all outfits on the top or bottom half of the body.

SPON DIOGO LABEL
Rui Andersen Rodrigues Diogo about the label:
Mia Lisa Spon and Rui Andersen Rodrigues Diogo have worked together as design team more than four years.
As a team we have designed for various companies with projects such as male / female prêt à porter collections, jewelery, bags, identity programs etc..
Mia Lisa Spon is a trained tailor and has worked for Danish and Swedish fashion and apparel companies. I, Rui Andersen Rodrigues Diogo, am self taught in the design field. I ran an art gallery and boutique in Reykjavík. I have worked as arts editor on Danish fashion magazine III and with industrial and graphic design. We live and work in Copenhagen.
Our approach to designing is architectonic, structural, graphic and strongly founded in the love for luxurious materials and detail work tailoring. The Spon Diogo woman is urban, social and strong.
Mid October 2008 our first 10 piece collection, exclusively for Danish boutique PARISTEXAS (www.paristexas.dk) was launched. This capsule collection is a pre-collection to our spring / summer 2009 collection entitled FACETS.
Our autumn / winter 2009 collection is a full collection and counts 35 pieces. This will also be sold at Apartment in Berlin (www.apartmentberlin.de).
Also we are partaking in the new and exciting project by Notjustalabel – it’s a new webshop curated monthly by different players in the fashion industry (this month is curated by Mr Robin Schulié – Maria Luisa Paris) – www.notjustalabel.com
