THE UNDERLINING COLOURS MAGAZINE

THE UNDERLINING COLOURS MAGAZINE

The Underlining Colours magazine is based in London and was started by four interdisciplinary creatives; Asami Uetsuji, Hong Chu, Niclas Heikkinen and Salina Chu.The name of the magazine comes from the idea which originally was to streetcast
models who would inspire us to create artwork. Through the artworks we tried to show a different aspect of that person. However, nowadays each issue is built around a theme which people can more easily relate to and although the casting still plays a big role, it isn't as muse centered as before. Also the artists who contribute to the magazine are as important as the models and we are happy to have Quentin Jones, Ellen Rogers, Hormazd Narielwalla and Max Parsons onboard as well as the models Rosie Snowden (Select), Thomas Penfound (D1) and Joseph Culp (M&P) who's in the top50 in the world.
