RICH MEDINA & GE-OLOGY in OntFront

www.ontfront.com

Amsterdam menswear brand OntFront is honored to present the second photo project with Philadelphia Renaissance man Rich Medina. In this photo shoot OntFront shows their latest collection.

In this season's edition, Rich asked if he could bring a friend in to join the shoot. That friend happened to be the very talented gentleman Ge-ology.

Ge-ology is known for his understated, yet refined style which connects street to classic sensibilities. Ge-ology, since the 80s, carved his own lane through the world as a well-respected visual artist, music producer and DJ.

It goes without saying that OntFront, Medina and Ge-ology have a deep love for menswear and craftsmanship, as evidenced in their respective styles and career choices. Medina has been a quintessential maverick in the entertainment business for quite a long time. He has always functioned as an independent, self made man as DJ, producer and poet.

This project represents the mixture of subculture, music and style. With these images OntFront strives to show off their authentic street savvy style to a broader audience.

Cavemen x Ontfront - Editorial - Serene Solitude from Cavemen on Vimeo.

Verses guide another collaboration between the Dutch menswear label OntFront and the Cavemen creatives. As timeless tailoring mixed with street trends are common ground for both the OntFront and Cavemen crew; they’ve created a philosophic and poetic winter editorial named Serene Solitude in which both these creative minds propagate their view and opinion on street style.

Using items from both the OntFront store and OntFront’s upcoming collection they’ve managed to showcase their dapper sense of pre-spring styles. In a short yet poetic film they’ve combined the harder materials that originate from the denim trend with softer and more delicately tailored garments.

Respecting older vintage looks but still embracing modern day style; These Cavemen and OntFront once again blend their signature in newer street-style looks using garments from the brands OntFront, Etudes, Brooklyn We Go Hard, Brixton and the Amsterdam Shoe Company.

WHAT WO WEAR IN 2013 ACCORDING TO ONTFRONT

What to wear in 2013 according to OntFront
www.ontfront.com

As seasons shift year-round, men’s style changes and newer styles develop. Introducing their new looks for 2013; Amsterdam’s OntFront Store created a photographic series in which a generation of men pushes the revival of classic styles and represent the OntFront creed: “Tailored and Streetwise”. As Dutch actor Sergio Hasselbaink and Mike Verhagen pay their respect to Amsterdam’s long cultural history; they radiate “dapperness” in OntFront’s newly designed attire.

The series mainly contains of the newest garments within OntFront’s clothing line. Fabrics of the current collection are classic tweed, wool, jersey, velour, cotton and leather. All garments are crafted with care and created in limited numbers of 150 pieces per style. Details in the overall looks are completed by adding other brands that are available at the OntFront store: Bailey, Pasotti Ombrelli, Knits & Knotts, Brixton, Retrosuperfuture, Amsterdam shoe co, L’ecole National, NUNC & Flybird. By creating this series, the collective behind the OntFront clothing line proudly display their vision in modern-day menswear.

CAVEMEN AND ONTFRONT VIDEO

Cavemen x OntFront
We, who wander

VIDEO

Menswear label OntFront and the team behind a concept called Cavemen have joined together to create a philosophic fashion video. Cavemen is a poetic melting pot in which style, masculinity and the art of storytelling are combined to add an extra dimension to fashion video and blogging.

Respecting older vintage and preppy looks but still embracing modern day fashion, the Cavemen team blends these signatures in newer street-style looks using garments from the OntFront clothing line. Other garments featured in this video originate from L’ecole National, Bailey hats and Flybird.

Using these garments, OntFront, the tributary brands and Cavemen managed to write yet another chapter in an ongoing style documentary.
